I'm not a fan of traditional "New Years Resolutions". I don't think it's healthy to put off changes that you need to make but I have to admit, the New Year really is a great time to take stock of the year and set your goals up for the incoming year. There is something about Christmas and the end of the year that puts me in a reflective mood about where I've been and where I'm going.
Rolling into 2025 we'd like to introduce what we call "Sharpen The Axe". A set of daily objectives designed to break us out of slumps and build healthier habits. The best part is that we get to participate with all of you!
The goal is to hit each of these objectives every day for as many days in a row as possible.
Obviously, the hope is that we finish the month and hit every objective everyday... but we are human and life has a way of doing it's best to derail good intentions.
The real GOAL is progress, not perfection. Hopefully we look back in a month and we see that we've traded some unhealthy tendencies for some positive habits that we can build on throughout the year.
Each month the daily objectives will change. You can track how you've done on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis if you'd like using the trackers we've shared to our story highlights. (You will have to take a screenshot, we don't have this in an app... YET)
Share your progress to your story or feed and tag us in it every week! Our favorite part of The Grit and Co. is the relationships we've built and hearing how we've been able to be even a small bit of help to people along the way!
We might just have a monthly giveaway for those that have participated and shared their progress...
